Clearing the time bombs in the beginning will give you a good start towards getting the points you need. Try to use each colour bomb individually, and do not mix them with anything: if you can use two or three colour bombs individually to remove candy colours, you’ll be left with a reduced amount of candy colours on the board, and opportunities to make the colour bombs you need to make will just fall into play – they may even drop into play ready made.
If you’re struggling with the score, hold off on detonating the final colour bomb and use your moves to bring time bombs onto the board then clear them up. Each time bomb you diffuse will add on 3,000 points which will go a long way on this level.
In Candy Crush Saga level 389 you need to collect the orders and score 200,000 points.
The order on level 389 is 20 color bombs in 40 moves. There are 15 move bombs, mystery candies, chocolate and chocolate spawners and 14 color bombs in marmalade on the board.
Start by removing the bombs. If you cannot do that remove the chocolate. Also look for opportunities to make special candies, especially color bombs of course. Once you break through the marmalade you can use the color bombs. Use two together to clear the bombs off the board and then match them with one color to give you a better chance of making more color bombs. Bombs do fall from the top and so you need to keep an eye out for those, however you have 15 moves before they explode and so there is no need to panic and once you have less than 15 moves left new bombs can be ignored. It is not always wise to remove all of your color bombs quickly. This is because they can be useful to remove bombs that are close to exploding. However, watch out for chocolate as if it grows near it may form over the bomb.
Boosters are not much help in level 389. You may want a bomb cooler or lollipop hammer to attack a troublesome bomb. You may wish to start with a color bomb to give yourself an easy one, but as there are so many, one extra may not make that much difference.
