As soon as you manage to make a vertical striped candy, you’ll be able to combine a wrapped and wrapped candy down the bottom half and start working on the jelly.
You need to balance making matches down the bottom, hitting the meringues directly, with making striped candy up the top, to weaken the meringues. Getting the balance is difficult, but it can be done.
• In this level you need to clear all the jellies.
• First you need to make vertical striped candies in the top half of the screen.
• This will open the marmalade coated candies.
• Try to make the marmalade candies detonate and it should start a chain reaction of clearing most of the meringues and jelly.
• Focus on making moves at the bottom to clear jelly.
• Then make your best candy combo to clear out the remaining jellies.
In Candy Crush Saga level 197 you need to clear the jelly and score 80,000 points to complete the level.
You have a generous 50 moves to complete level 197 but the jelly is in the bottom half of the board covered in three-layered meringue. There are wrapped candies covered in marmalade in the middle of the blockers and there with only one square connecting the bottom with the top half of the board.
The best thing to do is to activate the wrapped candies so that you can clear significant areas on blockers and jelly. To do this you will need to use vertical striped candies from the top section of the board. A color bomb could help to remove the marmalade on a certain colored candy or to activate them if the candy has been removed. Do your best to combine two wrapped candies together as this will remove more than just setting off one at a time. Once you have done this you will need to remove the remaining blockers and jelly. A striped and wrapped candy combination could be useful for this as could a color bomb and striped combination. Work from the bottom of the board and hopefully this will allow matches to be made higher up and remove more jellies. Look out for opportunities to make special candies the whole time as these will make a huge difference during the course of the game.
Useful boosters for level 197 are probably a striped and wrapped candy and extra moves.
