The three meringues in the center have jelly under them, and there’s double jelly all over the top of this grid. Use the first 15 to 20 moves making striped candies and whatever other specials you can without breaking through the licorice blocked candy which is keeping the chocolate contained – you’re basically setting up the board so you have plenty to attack the chocolate with when you do break the barrier.
Because of the grid layout and the amount of different colour candy in play, chocolate is your main enemy this level – you don’t just need to trim it back you need to destroy it. Having a vertical striped candy ready to fire on the middle column can help – with all your striped candies, don’t use them until they can take out some chocolate.
Once the chocolate is clear, assess how much jelly you have left and plan from there. It’s a real toughie, so you’ll need your candy crushing wits about you!
• In this level you need to clear all the jelly.
• I know we all want to clear the meringues first but clear the chocolate first.
• It will take over the whole board if you don’t.
• Then clear the middle meringues.
• After that just focus clearing the jelly like a regular jelly level.
• Make combos as usual.
• Also focus on where you want to move.
Candy Crush level 79 is located in the Easter Bunny Hills episode of Candy Crush Saga. To beat this level you must clear 55 jelly squares and score at least 100,000 points. This is a jelly level and it features double jelly squares at the top and single jelly squares at the bottom. There are also some locked candies surrounding some chocolate in the middle of the board. This board is also very awkward with a few holes in it which make it harder to make combos and clear jelly.
Level 79 can be beaten with a few tips and tricks. When you first begin the game first check if there are any candy combos that can crush the locked candies. if you can get these out of the way and clear the chocolate, you will have better room to work with to create your special candies. Once you clear the locked candies and chocolate, start working from the bottom and crushing all the single jelly. Watch for combos made at the top from playing at the bottom of the board.
The hardest jelly squares to clear will be the upper left and right corners of the board. Level 79 can be beaten with a few tries if you are a Candy Crush guru. If you are a beginner you make have to play a while to beat this one but you can do it! For a video on how to beat level 79, check below.
